River is keyboard-first. Almost everything you can click, you can press a shortcut for.

Shortcuts are shown for Mac. Replace Cmd with Ctrl on Windows and Linux.

Every shortcut listed above is rebindable. Open Settings → Shortcuts for the full list and to set your own preferences.

Tips#

  • The single highest-leverage shortcut is Cmd K. Learn it; use it for everything.
  • The second is Cmd J — SpaceChat is the universal command surface.
  • If you're using the desktop app, set the global shortcut to something you'll actually press without thinking.
