2

Open SpaceChat and orient yourself

Create your first entity

Everything in River is an entity — a doc, note, task, file, or email thread. Ask River to create one so you can see how content becomes a permanent, findable part of your workspace.

Create a new doc that lists my top three current priorities. Title it clearly and save it to my workspace.

River saves the result as an entity with a permanent home. You can search for it, open it later, or let agents reference it.

4

Connect a service

River connects to Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Slack, and more. Once connected, those items become entities River can read, reason over, and act on.

Walk me through connecting Gmail to River. Once it’s connected, show me what’s in my inbox and flag anything that needs a reply today.

Build your first Agent

Agents are reusable AI specialists that run on triggers or schedules — without you having to ask. A great first Agent handles something you do repetitively, like triaging email or drafting a morning briefing.

Help me build an Agent that reads my unread emails each morning, picks out the three most important, and saves a short briefing doc to my notes.
