Contacts

The Contacts App is your relationship graph. Every person and company you work with becomes a Contact or Company entity, automatically linked to the emails, calendar events, deals, and docs that reference them.

This is the people layer of your world model.

What it gives you#

  • People and companies as entities — fully searchable and AI-readable
  • Auto-population — Contacts are extracted from your Mail, Calendar, and Slack as you go
  • Relationships — edges to deals, projects, emails, meetings, docs
  • Stakeholder maps — visual graphs of who's connected to whom
  • Last-touch tracking — when did you last talk to this person, and through which channel
  • Enrichment — contact details from your CRM, LinkedIn (via Computer Use), or manually

Stakeholder maps#

For any project, account, or deal, the Contacts App can generate a stakeholder map — a visual graph of:

  • Who is connected to whom
  • What projects they're involved in
  • The strength of each connection (recency, volume, depth)
  • Who's the decision-maker, the influencer, the gatekeeper

Stakeholder maps are produced by the Entity Extraction pipeline and update automatically as you communicate.

Relationship intelligence#

A few patterns the AI can run on your Contacts:

  • "Who haven't I talked to in 90 days that I should reach out to?"
  • "For tomorrow's meeting, who am I meeting and what should I know?"
  • "What's our relationship history with Acme Co?"
  • "Find warm intros for [target person]" — searches your network for shared connections.

Manual additions#

Beyond the auto-populated Contacts, you can:

  • Type a contact in directly
  • Drop in a vCard
  • Ask the AI: "add my dentist to my contacts" — entity_add researches and fills in the fields
  • Bulk import via CSV

Privacy#

In a personal Dataspace, your Contacts are private to you. In a team Dataspace, they're shared — and the AI can reason across the whole team's relationship graph (with the appropriate ACL controls).

Tips#

  • Connect Mail, Calendar, and Slack early — that's how Contacts auto-populate at scale.
  • Tag important people (vip, investor, customer) so smart views surface them quickly.
  • Stakeholder maps are most useful before a major meeting or decision — generate one fresh each time.
