FOR GHOSTWRITERS

Capture the client's voice. Deliver the book.

River is the AI workspace built for ghostwriters — interview ingestion, voice capture, long-form drafting, and total discretion.

Free to start  ·  No credit card required

Ghostwriting is voice capture plus long-form output, done under NDA. River is the workspace built for both halves.

Upload your client's interviews, prior writing, and emails. River builds a voice profile, drafts in that voice, and stays under the level of discretion the work requires.

Voice capture to delivery

  1. 1

    Set up the client Space

Interviews, prior writing, brand voice, outline, contract — one Space per client.

  2. 2

    Draft in the client's voice

River uses the captured voice profile and the agreed outline to draft chapters that sound like the client wrote them.

  3. 3

    Review, revise, deliver

Client reviews via the shareable portal. Revisions are tracked. Final manuscript exports clean to Word, ePub, or PDF.

Frequently asked questions

How does voice capture actually work?

Drop 5–10 examples of the client's voice (writing samples, recorded interviews, emails). River extracts vocabulary, sentence rhythm, and signature phrases and applies them to drafts.

Is it discreet enough for high-profile clients?

Yes. River does not train on your content, supports per-project access controls, and offers on-prem deployment for celebrity / political / executive ghostwriting where SaaS is not acceptable.

Can I handle multiple clients in one account?

Yes. Each client gets a separate Space with isolated voice profiles, draft history, and access controls.

Does it handle the business side?

Outlines, deadlines, chapter status, and client feedback live in the same Space as the manuscript. Invoicing and contracts live separately — River keeps the writing surface focused.
